We have some open playtests coming down the tracks for June!
Our playtests are currently time limited and not available outside of the times below so make sure you are all aboard when the train leaves the station! Our playtests are not region locked so feel free to join as many as you like but expect latency issues for distant servers.
Note: You will be able to launch the game, but outside of these times playing will be blocked or passworded. When the playtest starts if the playtest remains just restart your client and the password will be lifted!
Friday June 13th thru Sunday June 15th Join us to test changes to crafting and the addition of evacuating with fuel core, a rare resource that is only available to condctors and which is highly usntable once removed from it's crafter. Conductors will only have 10 minutes to evacuate to their dagger before the fuel core becomes unstable with explosive results.
Friday June 27th thru Sunday June 29th Late June will feature a host of new mechanics as we work towards 24 hour playtests in July and August!

About This Game
Enginefall is a multiplayer social sandbox game combining high-stakes PvP, survival crafting, and long-term progression. Start as a “tailie,” trapped in eternal servitude aboard a massive mega-train, and fight to rise through the classes, take the engine, and become the conductor. Whether you focus on shooting and raiding, make friends and build alliances, or craft the ultimate base and gear, every new train is a chance to carve your own path to freedom.
Start Your Revolution:
Lead your uprising however you choose—through force, strategy, or social cunning. Your lives might be limited, but cunning passengers know you can always gain more along your journey. You can even pause your revolution by entering hibernation and return whenever you’re ready to continue the fight.
Take What’s Yours:
Discover isotopes or pillage fuel cores from the engine. Evacuate to your dagger shuttle, your personal escape pod and assault craft, to secure your spoils. Upgrade your dagger from a rusty bucket to a powerful transport capable of raiding other trains.
Own an Engine:
Claim your own train, add new carriages, and build the community of your dreams—or your enemy’s nightmares. Manage your passengers carefully or risk an uprising of your own.
Derail the Opposition:
Raid rival trains to steal resources and eliminate competitors. But beware—there’s always a bigger train waiting to strike.

Red Rover has been developing Enginefall with playtesting and player feedback at its core for over a year. Enginefall is expected to leave the station in early 2026, and we want you to be part of the journey.
