Veterans from Canada have been in Cyprus paying tribute to servicemen who died as part of the United Nations mission on the island.

Canada was one of the first countries to deploy troops when the peacekeeping operation began fifty years ago.

This morning personnel who served on the buffer zone visited the graves of those buried on the island.
