Before you get very excited and visit the ModDB link which is below, you should chill down a little. That mod got discontinued 2-3 years ago and all the efforts have been put into Deep Impact. Basically Deep Impact has got models, textures and ideas from two other mods (Generation X and European Conflict) thrown together into one. In this beta version of Generation X we can only use USA and all of it's subfactions together with old ones (Superweapons, Airforce and Lasers) and a new added general whose specialty is Special Forces. The AI for the new subfaction is also non functioning (at least on Hard and Medium difficulty levels) so you will just have to destroy the Command Center and a Dozer when you are against it. In overall it's a very good looking and a cool mod (Townes together with his new laser toys is amazing to play), but in my opinion it's a real shame that we will never (?) play Generation X mod for the Zero Hour together with the rest of Chinese and GLA stuff. I would really like to see that happen because these models and textures look brilliant.
