Here is my very first build guide for Path of Exile. This build focuses on high amounts of power and frenzy charges to make high critical hit damage ice traps with large AoE. This build was made in Blight League or update 3.8.

The most important items for this build are the Void Batteries to gain damage based on your power charges combined with badge of the brotherhood to make your max frenzy charges equal to your max power charges with charged trap support to have super fast trap throwing speed and high critical strike multiplier. While this build is easily the highest damage output build I have made so far, the survive-ability is quite lacking in my opinion but that is most likely due to make own lack of skill.

Things that I forgot to go over that are important - I anointed my amulet as you saw with the node that adds +1 max power charges which can be a somewhat expensive anointment. My helmet was corrupted because I have been trying to gain the corruption to gain +1 max power charges there too. If you can get that to have 10 max power/frenzy charges that is a boost as well. On my effective damage for Path of Building I also had Warmonger's elemental equilibrium active so my damage per trap is about 900kish solo with added cold damage support.
