We also share new information about the game's most unique element, "hacking."
We're eagerly awaiting the Japanese demo of "Pragmata." We look forward to your continued support for future news.
■ Two Main Characters
Hugh Williams
A systems auditor dispatched to investigate the lunar base, he is sometimes assigned security duties and is skilled with a variety of firearms.
He is seriously injured in an accident caused by a moonquake, but is rescued by Diana, and together they continue their exploration of the lunar base, aiming to return to Earth.
He has a warm personality, but sometimes expresses his thoughts directly.
Diana (Identification Number D-I-0336-7)
A special android created from Luna Filament, she is a girl from Pragmata.
She has the ability to hack into facility devices, as well as work and security bots.
She is curious and possesses excellent learning abilities, but due to a lack of data accumulation, her reactions can be naive.
She loves the name Hugh gave her, "Diana."
■ Hacking: A Key Element of Pragmata
Diana's "hacking" is a signature feature of the game, utilized in a variety of situations, from unlocking closed doors during exploration to forcibly disarming enemy armor during combat.
Introducing two elements revealed in this demo:
"Overdrive," which forcibly disarms nearby enemies' armor
Overdrive is Diana's hacking ability, activated by filling up the gauge. It allows her to hack nearby enemies simultaneously, forcibly disarming them and temporarily immobilizing them.
It's up to the player's strategy whether to save it for emergencies or use it proactively.
"Hacking Nodes," a Gain in Battle
When Diana hacks an enemy, a hacking panel appears.
Using a single stroke of the panel, connect it to a green target point to disarm the enemy's armor.
The more blue squares you pass through during your path, the more damage and disarming time you inflict on the enemy. Passing through "hacking nodes," indicated by yellow squares, provides an even greater advantage in battle. The hacking node "Decode," available early on, temporarily lowers enemy defenses.
As you continue playing, nodes with various effects appear, broadening your strategic options.
■ "Bots" Block Hugh and Diana's Path
Hugh and Diana, exploring the lunar world with the goal of returning to Earth, are confronted by "bots."
We introduce the "Walker" and "Sector Guard," two bots affected by the runaway management AI.
Walker
The M4 series, Delphisa's flagship general-purpose humanoid bot, has become widely used because it can support humans in the same space, using the same tools.
The M4AM, modified for lunar conditions, is capable of operating in low-gravity and vacuum environments.
Sector Guard
This large S-35 bot, manufactured by Delphisa's military division, is used to defend key locations. The modular arms can be equipped with a variety of weapons, from high-powered missiles to low-powered ammunition. Additional fuel tanks can be added for extended operation.
