Capcom's Incredible Dedication to Character Depth and Development
9Taking the perfect cues from well-written titles such as Nier, Remember Me and even Silent Hill 2, Capcom has brought with it all the good parts of storywriting from its fellow titles and left behind all of the downsides in the creation of Resident Evil 6. In a refreshing, delightful contrast to series antagonist Albert Wesker, Jake is a much lighter, whimsical individual whose motives and emotions are no longer black and white, and straight forward. He is conflicted, grey and his choices are never always clear. Sometimes he is lost, but in ways that viewers can always relate to. And because of this, his growth over the course of Resident Evil 6 can be appreciated just that much more by the invested people who trek through this grand epic of storytelling and human conflict.
Technically, this cost me two-hundred dollars to make.
