Wow. I just decided to try it out of curiosity. I didn't think it would actually WORK. You can beat Mako in four turns with just a pair of frigging Droll Birds, which can be bought at the store. I used Level 1 Droll Birds with a symbol that does nothing for them here, so it took 1 extra turn, but if you've got a Fire symbol with 44% Symbol Effect Rate, the enemy Symbol dies in one hit, allowing a 4-turn clear and skipping the map animation. Wonder if I should route a real speedrun.

This does in fact 100% work every time, by the way. AI moves never vary.
