Capture card comparison. No sales, this video will not tell you what to buy, or even provide a recommendation. This video just shows how four different capture cards look and how they react to the same color correction from a single camera feed.

The tests are capturing the same video feed from a single camera. The feed is then duplicated using a switch into our three capture devices. Each capture device was setup to use the same video format, XRGB, with the exception of the Razer Ripsaw HD which doesn’t support XRGB; the Razer is using YUY2 and we’ll talk about that in the video. The color space was set to 709 with the color range set to full, and buffering is disabled.

We break down the setup, build a diagram of the setup, and then review the footage. This is a simple comparison and I would love to know your thoughts on the footage.
