In this video, I show the car customization feature in Need for Speed: Heat. I am actually overwhelmed by the amount of customization options in NFS heat. At a very high level, you can customize body, effects, stance, exhaust sound, and paint & wrap.

Overall - there are a ton of customization options for your car in this game. I'm sure a lot of people will sink a lot of time perfectly designing what their car looks like.

For car body customization, some parts have sub options for customization. For example, the wheels have sub-parts to customize such as tired, calipers, etc.

Paint & Wrap is probably my favorite feature. I changed the finish on my car and added some decals. The community feature wasn't available yet since the game literally just released, but I'm sure it'll start being functional as the game ages. There are so many decal options. Like really!

I didn't really touch the effects piece, but you can basically change nitrous color, underglow, air suspension, horn, tire smoke.
