CardX, an automated surcharging platform, is acquired by Stax VIDEO
CardX has been acquired by Stax, an all-in-one payment technology provider. Stax’s existing surcharging services will be enhanced by CardX’s capabilities. With built-in disclosures, pricing technology, and tools for seamless reconciliation and cash application, customers can automate surcharging compliance. CardX joins the Stax network of 22,000 businesses that power $23 billion in global transactions. More than $1 billion in processing volume is handled by CardX’s 2,600 active customers. Through the acquisition, Stax gains a new office in Chicago and expands its leadership team
