Carmen Sandiego's Great Chase Through Time - With Q9300 Intel Q45/Q43 (Part 1)
10-System is a compact Lenovo M58 and doesn't have a pcie slot so adding a gpu isn't possible.
-This is the CD-ROM verion I purchased from amazon sometime ago.
-Do to their age these old disc based Carmen Sandiego games have some compatibility issues. Following the steps in this link will be necessary to run the game:

-Just wanted to do this for the heck of it, I was a fan of the old Fox cartoon series and the game show on PBS. I introduced my kid to both the old and new cartoon series and she loved it. It would be great if the Carmen Sandiego games received updates to make them more compatible with modern hardware/windows and distributed through Steam or GOG but that is highly unlikely to ever happen.
-Every new scene starts out partially blacked out but can be fixed by moving the mouse around.
-The game crashes often, with the frequency varying by stage in the game.
-As far as i'm aware the game doesn't exist on any digital store front (at least officially / legally). I acquired the physical disc, used of course. No clue where to download it from, made no effort to do so. However I believe the older Dos games can be found on the internet.
-Not that there is any point in running a game based off a CD-Rom but in case anyone was wondering none of the utilities used to show fps worked with this.
