Thanks to the work of Liquid Cat over on the CV64 discord we can now see the in game model for the beta Stake Subweapon. Picking up the item makes it your current sub weapon, and it can even be used...kinda. It cost 1 jewel and Carrie does a throwing animation, but nothing comes out. The game has it coded as a pickup item but can only be seen by messing around with candle drops.

Its unknown how this would have been used. I guessed on my stream that it was cut in favor of the knife, but as Samuel LaFrance found on the CV64 discord, the item also appears in shots from the same beta build with the knife being used meaning at one point both were in the game. Perhaps it did extra damage to vampires, or was an up close melee weapon? We may never know unless a build of this version leaks.
