Castlevania, released by Konami in 1986, is an all-time favorite of mine. Simon Belmont of the fabled Belmont Clan is equipped with the Legendary Vampire Killer whip and out to invade Dracula's castle, Castlevania, and put an end to his latest reign of terror - just as his ancestors before him have in the past. Six stages with movie monster inspired bosses await Simon on his first quest to take back the night.
