Not gonna even fret you guys on this one. I had less of a good time leaving this visit than I did others on the channel. I don't think this game is bad honestly but man it was ruthless to say the least. Doing this kind of thing we are bound to run into some Fighting games during these journeys that will ultimately rub you the wrong way. Psychic Force and it's sequel is a really cool game in concept but the execution of it I feel missed the mark. The presence of a block button is fine but having complicated techniques to block against bigger attacks is like a huge turn off for me. I'm referring to the barrier guard that will protect your character against the Psy attacks that spend meter by spending meter to use vice versa. The only problem was that in order to do it the input for it was 360+G button. Yep you had to spin the stick and press guard in order to block huge fireballs for example and not take chip damage or get knocked into a wall. This is also a arcade fighting game meaning that the AI is here to steal your money for certain. I found that out real quick too. Normally that's not such a big deal but the system felt very oppressive with little the player can do to squeeze out a win. Also didn't help that ReDream crashed twice during Psychic Force 2012. Perhaps I'll return to it and finish the fight because I hate leaving games undone honestly.
