Why Early Access?
“Goose Goose Duck is in a fully playable state and already includes all of our core features for you and up to 15 more friends to enjoy. Our built-in proximity chat for private games is available and you can start to unlock awesome ways to customize your goose. All you need is to do is play and it's free!. Whatever you do though, stay out of the Cargo Bay.”
Approximately how long will this game goose goose duck be in Early Access?
“We hope to get our third map out as soon as possible. We expect our game to be in early access for a very short time. (1 - 2 weeks). This is an approximation though as we want to ensure all of our "ducks" are in order.”
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“We're still getting our goose nest in order. Things like server stability, optimizations, and a ton of more content are on the way. We didn't want to consider this game released until we at least had 3 exciting spaceships for you to explore. We have a ton of new game-modes, countless new roles to take on, cosmetics, and our 4th map is already in the works. We figured people would get bored of flying through space so we're going to introduce an entirely new genre: Victorian England.

We hope to release our third map in early May of 2021 and the fourth one sometime in June or July with the others following close behind. Each map will contain new death-stingers, tasks, game modes, and really cool environmental interactions that you just don't see in other games.

“We have no intention to charge for the core game-play. We believe in getting everyone a chance to play with their friends. Times are tough, and no one should be left out of the fun. There will be a heavy focus on delivering content over the next year and we believe the community support will be enough to keep everyone playing.”
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
“We believe that games like Goose Goose Duck are living projects. Suggestions from the communities are what will drive the direction of the content. Without community support, we couldn't expect to make a game that everyone likes. This means that if you take part in our Discord and other forums you'll know what and when is going to be next for Goose Goose Duck. That's because it will all come from you, the players.”
