The CDC advisory committee just voted and has authorized the use of the updated bivalent M-RNA vaccines from both Pfizer and Moderna. Everyone over 12 is recommended to get the shot if it has been at least two months since completing their primary series or receiving a booster. The CDC director will also need to sign off but the new boosters are expected to be available next week
