"Before you learn the tech needed to access this berry, you need to know how to "heart ultra". For this heart, the best place to start all that from is in the hole in the ground to the right of the heart. When done here, a lone heart ultra will result in the player dashing into the trigger spikes then dying to a spinner shortly after.

To collect this berry, perform a heart ultra, jump off the ground a little after you land, and then dash down-diagonally again immediately. If you do all of that, you'll appear to jump off thin air into the berry. The 1-frame jump-off-nothing nature of the trick, combined with the fact that it is only possible at the end of a map, have earned this tech the name "yump.""
