Celeste L-Side Chapter 3 Celestial Resort and Chapter 6 EX-Side Reflection were definitely a lot easier than this one. Hardest Celeste mod I've done without a doubt, mostly because of the RNG.

1st attack is static, not too bad.


2nd attack is the hardest, you better pray to RNG and be really good at reading it, otherwise this will be the wall that prevents you from making any progress.


3rd attack is static. A bit more precise than the first, and for some reason a bit different in a full run than in the practice mode. Once you get used to it, not a real problem.


4th attack somehow has a pixel perfect safe spot in the corner. It wouldn't really be the hardest attack to dodge without it either (assuming you do it in the corner), but it does still help.


5th attack requires really good reading and can give you terrible RNG occasionally.


6th attack is the same as the 5th, except harder.


7th attack, static, but again, for some reason different in practice. Not something you should fail on once you get used to it.


8th attack. For some reason I was getting really bad RNG with this, although I think it's overall the easiest RNG attack if you don't get straight up walls.


Overall, I'd say it feels like a CAVE boss more than anything else. So despite not being as hard as I originally thought it was, I'd definitely say this was a success, and will probably be making more fights like this in the future.

Celeste is an overall pretty great platformer, although I would have preferred if there was less cycle memorization because of all the different moving enemies, spikes, platforms etc... throughout the game. And some of the gimmicks were worse than others. Other than that, the controls are great, the graphics are great, the music is good, the gameplay varies from chapter to chapter, there's easier levels and there's harder ones, the difficulty scales well, and there's plenty of challenges to do, especially if you want to get 202 berries/beat some of the more challenging custom maps/mods.
