In this video I set up my old cell phone as a webcam and show you how to do it in any linux.

To create a launcher: (save as droidcam.desktop)
[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Type=Application
Terminal=false
Name=DroidCam
Exec=droidcam && adb devices # Look in output for a connected device && adb forward tcp:$port tcp:$port # $port = specified port on the client
Comment=Use your Android phone as a wireless webcam or an IP Cam!
Icon=droidcam
Categories=GNOME;GTK;Video;
Name[it]=droidcam

To se resolution:
sudo leafpad /etc/modprobe.d/droidcam.conf (to set resolutions 320×240, 480×360, 640×480, 960×720 or 1280×720)(change v4l2loopback_dc to 1v4l2loopback_dc, I noticed that after the video)

To set resolution if above does not work (replace "uname -r" with your kernel):
sudo insmod /lib/modules/"uname -r"/kernel/drivers/media/video/1v4l2loopback-dc.ko width=1280 height=720

To uninstall:
sudo /opt/droidcam-uninstall
