Cello Sound Test
...and it sounded alright.
The sound quality is fair, and I must admit I was expecting a lot more intonation problems on my part since, having taken part in WashU's Freshman Summer Academic Program, I really haven't played my cello much in over a month.
Much practicing tonight, though! =-)
BTW this excerpt is by Joaquin Nin, 1927. I don't know what the exact title of the piece is, since my edition is in French, though I think the work is called Chants D'Espagne and the movement this except is from called Montañesa, inspired by the Spanish region of Castilla.
I couldn't find any recordings, professional or amateur, of this piece in stores or online while I was learning the piece, so hopefully I'll eventually upload me playing all four movements (with piano accompaniment) for others to listen to.
