CEMU (Wii U Emulator) - New Super Mario Bros U
New Super Mario Bros U running on CEMU, a Wii U emulator that is still in it's very early stages, but making huge strides already. This is the game running at it's actual speed on the emulator (about 30 fps, which assuming the game normally runs at 60 fps is half it's normal speed) which is totally playable despite being a bit on the slow side and graphically missing a few item blocks (but I can remember early versions of Dolphin doing the same on New Super Mario Bros Wii, so I'm sure this will get sorted in time). This is literally my first ever go on the game, so I'm figuring out the controls as I play. I've got the keys to the game mapped to a pad using Joy2key and the direction controls (i.e. the cursor keys) are mapped to an analog stick, hence why I initially keep accidentally pressing down (and then weirdly when I was trying to actually press down to ground pound it wouldn't do it),
Playing this at half speed like this reminds me of the first time I got Dolphin working many years ago on my old single core Pentium 4 and the first game I tried out on it was New Super Mario Bros Wii PC. Ahhh, good times.
