Michael Trikosko’s Bio:
Michael Trikosko wanted to be an animator after he discovered how stories enrich our lives. Before then he had an interest in art and animation, he would make flipbooks, comic books, drawings, etc., but never understood what purpose they served. That’s when he learned that art isn’t just for art’s sake, it has meaning to it. In particular stories can evoke raw emotions and deeply entertain. Michael learned about Ringling through a simple Google search. Since attending Ringling he’s had the honor of interning at JibJab Media Inc. and has received one of the first ever ASIFA Hollywood Animation Educators Forum Scholarships. This coming summer he will be interning at Sony PlayStation Santa Monica and looks forwards to meeting their talented team.
Andrew Wilson’s Bio:
Andrew Wilson, is from the land of New Jersey where the hustle and bustle of New York City can be faintly heard in the distance. Scotch Plains is the town where he was raised. There he rose through the ranks of the public education system ultimately to receive his high school diploma. His experience in this town is what drove him to be who he is today, a computer animation graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design.
He went to Ringling because of his interest in art and computers. So he thought computer animation would be a good melding of the two. While there he grew a lot academically and more importantly he met a lot of friends. His time at Ringling introduced him into a world creativity that he found himself to be blessed to be apart of. Being able to work with such magnificent talent from around the world gave him such an amazing insight on so many different perspectives.
Working on the film has given him a great appreciation to all the masters who did it before him. The amount of work was staggering and working with a partner was a great experience that taught him a lot. Now that his time at Ringling is over he hopes to be able to share the same experiences he had there at wherever he ends up.
