Making of T.B.P.
T.B.P. is a fully animated film. Taking over two years to complete with only two people working on the film David Schmacher did all the animation and Dave Bundtzen wrote, produced and directed the project. T.B.P. stars the voice over talent of Daniel Amerman, Catherine Hunter, and James Sasser. The film’s original score was created by Benjamin Goldman.
Director Statement
In setting out to create T.B.P. the original idea was it would be shot as a live action short film. But after further investigation of the story, I decided to make T.B.P. as an animated film. This set me on an incredible journey. Being that i had never created an animated film before.
Once getting David Schumacher on the project it began to come together. David created all the animation for the project. Most animated films have teams of animators, T.B.P. had one person, David. T.B.P. has been one of the most challenging and best learning experiences of anything I have ever done.
As a director of live action film, T.B.P. taught me the world of animation and using very different directing muscles. I was able to cast the amazingly talented actors Daniel Amerman, Catherine Hunter and James Sasser whose voice performances all brought the characters to life. After much work and two long years, the film is now done. I hope you enjoy T.B.P. as much as i did making it.
