Check out this cool Postvis-Previs Reel for the film Martian created at Argon provided Previs and Postvis services. On The Martian, Argon created 6 sequences, 301 approved shots with a running time of 14 minutes. This is a sample of the previs shots against the final film.

Postvis - to combine footage with animation to assist the editorial process. This reel represents a fraction of the Postvis created to assist the editorial process.

Previs - to create proof of concept for sequence design and shoot planning.

We also created a previsualization of the transformation sequences - a digitally animated proof of concept for sequence design and motion control purposes.

About Jason Mcdonald
I am an Animator with a broad visual effects background. My abilities include all round Maya skills, shot compositing, practical shoot supervision and previsualization creation.

I have worked as a Senior Animator, Animation Supervisor, CG Supervisor and on-set VFX Supervisor for Post Production companies including The Moving Picture Company, Cinesite, Peerless, The Mill and Double Negative.

If required, I am able to provide my own workstation running Maya and other CGI Applications for freelance projects.
