The name's Pond. James Pond. And he's got a license to krill in this Genesis cult classic. James Pond: Underwater Agent is a platformer in which players control a secret agent tadpole/fish/thing named James Pond. If you don't like puns, you'd better turn away now—it only gets worse from here. Each level gives James Pond an assignment, such as rigging the oil pipes with explosives or rescuing fish from polluted water, and it's up to you to see the mission through. Underwater Agent takes place mostly underwater, like a platformer with lots of swimming levels. The game is known for its constant use of puns and bizarre point system, as players can collect a list of totally random items to earn more points. James Pond doesn't play great and certainly isn't the best-designed game, but there's nothing else quite like it. James Pond: Underwater Agent is a single-player game.
