Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Outlaw Volleyball for the Xbox developed by Hypnotix and published by Simon & Schuster Interactive.
Similar to the popular Dead or Alive series, Outlaw Volleyball combines two of the best things about the summer—hot girls and volleyball. Well, at least one of the best things about the summer. Released in 2003 for the Xbox before being ported to the PlayStation 2, Outlaw Volleyball is an arcade sports game to the core. This is a simple, fast-paced game of volleyball with turbo speed, power shots and very skimpy bikinis. Outlaw Volleyball includes lovely ladies like Lizzy, the skin-showing British punk; Shawnee, the scantily clothed Native American princess; Donna, the big-mouthed and big-chested Jersey girl; and of course, Summer. Summer is a stripper, and on an unrelated note, Outlaw Volleyball probably isn't a game for kids. The game includes 16 characters in total, as well as 10 different playing fields, ranging from The Bronx and Staten Island to Antarctica and Peru. The game also features a fighting system, which allows players to fight someone on the other team to swing the momentum of a match. Outlaw Volleyball is a single and multiplayer game.
