Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified for the Xbox 360 developed and published by 2K Games.

A prequel to the XCOM series, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is a tactical third-person shooter with an awesome concept. Set in 1962, the game tells the story of William Carter, a special agent who suddenly finds himself in the middle of a war with little green men. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified captures the zeitgeist of its era very well, taking players from smoky secret military bases with massive computers to small college towns seemingly pulled from Animal House. This gives the game an interesting contrast between history and fantasy. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified emphasizes strategy, allowing players to command a small team of agents in battle. Unless you give them a direction, a target and a strategy, you probably won't make it through the invasion. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified also features a dialogue wheel, allowing players to choose how they approach other characters in the game. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is a single-player shooter.

This video review features video gameplay footage of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified for the Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
