806Earthbound review. Earthbound is a classic role playing game from 1995, released in 1995. Earthbound suffered from a relatively odd ad campaign with scratch-and-sniff-stickers. The inclusion of a free strategy guide may have also concerned potential buyers who thought the game was probably too hard to play, and moving onto new systems like the N64 or PS. Critics loved the humor of Earthbound, but the poor sales have caused this classic game to achieve cult status. Earthbound has a high cost of entry, and this puts off new players who didn't already own a copy. If you're seeking a run at Earthbound, you'll be looking at paying upwards to 150-200 dollars for a used copy of the game.
