CGRundertow MERCURY HG for PlayStation 3 Video Game Review
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Mercury Hg, a downloadable game on the PlayStation Network from Ignition Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. Mercury Hg is the fifth Mercury game from Ignition Entertainment. If you've never played one of them, imagine mixing Super Monkey Ball with a more fluid Marble Madness. That should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from the Mercury series, and the difference in Mercury Hg is largely aesthetic. The game is just as colorful as the prior Mercury titles, but it's got a much more elegant style. The Hg part of the name references the symbol for mercury on the periodic table, and the game has a clean appearance that uses color in a really bold and effective style. It has a feel very similar to SEGA's Super Monkey Ball, only a little more scientific and complex. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mercury Hg for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
