Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game console review of the Super Famicom, the Japanese version of the Super Nintendo. Released in 1990, the Super Famicom/Super Nintendo went on to become the top selling 16-bit console and a favorite among many gamers. The Japanese design (similar to Super Nintendos in Europe & Australia) is more sleek and rounded than the blocky North American version, but has the same hardware and functionality "under the hood."
