Nate made his way off the hanging train and onto the safety of solid ground. Flashbacks throughout the adventure reveals how fellow treasure-hunters and explorers Harry Flynn and Chloe Frazer approached Nate some time earlier with a plan to infiltrate a Turkish museum and steal an ancient relic that may hold the secret to Marco Polo's Lost Fleet, which leads up to the present day as you will find out. The intriguing part about this is that Nate and Chloe actually know each other because of their past history together while she was with Flynn, which will be revealed during the flashbacks
