0Well with Matthye dead we have our second Tarynean general to bring down and despite his demonic appearance he's fairly easy, fitting considering his character was a good pilot not a good fighter.
Whether or not he's truly dead I'm not 100% sure since every boss does that upon defeat and I kinda feel like if anyone is gonna survive the explosion it's the dude with control over fire... even if it's as the akira flesh mass.
Also he has some strong flame attacks that he just didn't do and instead just punched us a lot. If you're having trouble try to get him in a loop with him having to revive his hands which come back with reduced HP.
Just like General Matthye the weapon you can steal from him is meant for an optional party member but I don't believe you can get her until after this part.
