Unlike many other TDs, Core Defense is a unique "design your own path"-style TD that only lets you have 1 of each tower, has a Slay-the-Spire-style rewards system that will really put you in a dilemma when you have to choose between three equally-important rewards, and an overall level-based progression system whereby every failed run will contribute to unlocking new towers that will then become available in the game as a reward choice.
