Channel Year in Review - 2021
2022 is only a few hours away! Let's take the chance and rewind back to the start of the year and see what I achieved within the last 12 months.

This is by FAR, my most productive year at least when it comes to channel activity. I usually don't care for such celebrations but this is actually SUCH AN ACHIEVEMENT! 3 WHOLE finished runs, 200% more than what I expected to put out as I had no plans to begin working on anything else once Pascal was finished.
The video covers some of the highlights from each run and I will be posting some thoughts on each one of them below.

1. 「Tales of Graces ƒ: Pascal Reinforced」

↳ Now this is actually a rebooted run of my first attempt with a Pascal solo, I skipped doing a practice run before recording which I often do before runs, which resulted in me getting much better at the game mid-run so it was worth it to just entirely reset imo.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the outcome, this isn't a traditional run as it heavily focuses on glitch casting and breaking the game. However I'm extremely happy how much I learned to control crits and stuns within combos while introducing interesting setups and even implemented a couple of 'real' BC chains.
While this run only consists of the Main Arc, I don't consider F Arc and/or Zonecage happening in the future an impossibility.
2. 「Tales of Xillia: Musee Solo」

↳ As I stated above, I originally didn't intend to begin working on anything else after Pascal was finished. However with a more or less recent breakthrough with Xillia hacking, most bosses have now become pretty much fully playable!
I'd dreamed of the day I could run through the game as Musee and as the day finally came of course I began working on that on that instant!
A new run of the first game was VERY welcome, as I've learned both games pretty much inside out at this point but my channel was tragically missing out on X1 knowledge. Now I won't lie about how OP and broken Musee's boss moveset is as a player, but I'm extremely content with how much AI manipulation and other knowledge I got to show off with the run.
Additionally, Musee as the final boss of the game has access to the "Opportune Moment" skill which is an absolute blast to play with, encouraging perfect backsteps even further!
I still think this is the most fun I've had with any run I've done. It felt like home playing as Musee but playing as her in this game is an ENTIRELY different experience than the sequel.
3. 「Tales of Xillia 2: Musee 'All Out' Mix」
► https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLH044RYg0S_1khjThVzH5EiSMtiOFDVJL
↳ This one's just ridiculous, honestly. I had decided with the Remix run finished that I'd finally retire from the game, but somehow playing through the 1st game gave me motivation to go for one more run, all out with taking into account everything I know of the game.
Also a worthy disclaimer, as the run schedule is still going, not every video is up on my channel yet, you could treat it as a little teaser on what's yet to come!
This run (and the game in general) is the most frustrating one I've done, this game adds a lot of randomness to "balance" the comboing mechanics and as the cherry on top Musee heavily depends on Stun Blitz to extend combos, which adds to the RNG factor.
I didn't allow a single error to be made, any dropped combos or pointless timewaste from the AI. It was outrageously nerve wrecking in the long run, and I'm not even honestly sure it was all worth it. But what I can at least say is that I finally feel like I've perfected the run (3rd time's the charm), and while I won't say I'm retiring (since I'm sure we all know that's not true lol), I'll be taking an awfully long break from the game as a whole.
After that, I can't say for sure but if I gather the motivation I might run through the optional bosses one last time as well.

That's all the major stepping stones of the year, I did also come up with some "one offs" that may or may not become more in the future.
Graces Malik/Asbel, X2 Elise/Gaius/Alvin/Milla come to mind at the spot..
As well as showing off X2 Cless and Stahn with an All Artes Combos for both!
While I have no plans for any of these in the near future, you might've already seen my sneak peek video for next year that I'll be working on Destiny DC with Stahn next (but that's gonna be after a while likely).
And for sure I'll get urges to record more one offs in the future, I'm also planning on returning to something I've wanted to finish for literal years...
Anyway, congrats for reaching the end of this wall of text, and since you're here.. Thanks for stopping by and happy new year!
