0This story has the slowest burn of the Science Adventure games.
On one hand, the slow pace is part of the world-building. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of extraneous content. After following the point of view of two unrelated characters, we’re finally dropped into the shoes of our protagonist. Well, he’s not much of a hero, is he? Miyashiro is a bit of a weirdo who has moments of delusion, and there are opportunities for the player to choose whether those delusions are positive or negative. The mechanic makes for interesting plot scenarios in Miyashiro’s mind, but we’ll elaborate more on that next time.
