this Chapter 6 of Black Myth: Wukong brings an epic conclusion to an unforgettable journey. From unlocking Wukongâs legendary gear to facing godlike enemies, this finale had it all
The Journey to Wukongâs True Power
We started by unlocking the Cloud Nimbus, giving us the power to fly then we fought
Supreme Inspector
Lang-Baw-Baw
Gold-Armored Rhino: Gave us Wukongâs original armor.
Feng-Trail General: A giant grasshopper boss for Wukongâs helmet.
Cloudtreading Deer: Rewarded us with Wukongâs boots.
Emerald-Armed Mantis: Fought inside our piggy friend (gross!) for Wukongâs bracers.
Finally, we acquired Wukongâs legendary weapon, Jingubang, unlocking the hidden Wukong Stanceâan insanely powerful form!
Confronting Wukongâs Memories
We ventured into Wukongâs Birthstone, a surreal place where we sailed through his memories with our piggy companion. Inside, we faced:
Stone Monkey: Representing Wukongâs raw, untamed self, torn between chaos and enlightenment.
Great Sage: Broken Shell: A deeply symbolic fight about hubris, suffering, and transformation.
The First Ending
Defeating the Broken Shell led to the first ending, where Wukong receives the golden headbandâa symbol of control and enslavement. The cycle begins anew, leaving a bittersweet taste.
The Secret Ending
Determined to break the cycle, we ventured into Mount Mei, unlocked through secret areas, and faced:
Erlang Shen: The sacred divinity from the opening sceneâan epic boss fight that turned into a Godzilla-style battle.
The Four Heavenly Kings: Legendary beings who tested every ounce of our strength.
After revisiting Wukongâs memories and overcoming his inner demons once more, we achieved the secret ending. Wukong rejects the golden headband, breaking free from the cycle of control. Itâs a liberating, deeply symbolic conclusion to this incredible story.
