So, you just got your hands on Mario Kart DS (or pretty much any other Mario Kart game), and you're excited to play, but you reach the character/kart select screens and don't know who to choose. You go to the internet hoping for some sort of guide, and you somehow end up on this video. You watch and... hopefully it helps?

NOTES
- I am not an expert at Mario Kart. I don't know the ins and outs of every mechanic. I am good at the games and enjoy them, but I don't spend days surfing the wiki for morsels of information. So everything in this video is just my own thoughts on things.
- I also learned when finding an image for the thumbnail that Waluigi and R.O.B are also unlockable (presumably if you get gold on the maps in 100cc and 150cc difficulty). I know nothing about them but everything I say in the video should apply to them as well
