Chatting With Luke Owen, Writer of Lights, Camera, GAME OVER How Video Game Movies Get Made
In 2018 I sat down with Luke Owen, presenter of Wrestle Talk and writer at Flickering Myth, to talk about his book Lights, Camera, Game Over! How Videogame Movies Get Made, which chronicles the highs and lows of the production process for several of the most famous videogame movies out there.
You think you know it all already? Trust me, you only know half the story.
I was never really completely happy with how that video turned out, so have decided to go back and redo it and am much happier with how it's turned out.
The interview is a few years old now some of the stuff we talk about is a bit outdated, but it's a nice time capsule none the less.
Also, you'll have to excuse the big water mark over the picture, I use a LOT of trailers in this and you know how corporations like to go crazy with their copyright claims so I'm trying to avoid that.
I've delisted the old video now but if you're interested and comparing the two you can find it here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9DZ5Zu0UPQ
