The keyboard used here is a Ritcomp Cherry soft keyboard from early 2010 which comes with Cherry MX Black switches. The important thing to note here is unlike their pre-2010 keyboards, Ritcomp degraded the quality of plastic keycaps and casing that they used in their older models. They keyboard case alone doesn't feel great the way how their pre-2010 keyboard cases used to feel and the same is with their keyboard keycaps. Don't get me wrong the keyboard still feels alright for its price for what it was being sold back then. This experiment was just an attempt to see if swapping the keycaps to slightly better PBT keycaps enhances the sound and user experience or not.
