In this video I take a look at Star Valor* an open world space adventure RPG game.
This is exactly the sort of game I have been waiting for. I played a shareware game similar to this in my 386 days and have always been on the lookout for something similar. I really love the fluent flight animations of the tiny ships, they look great. It has missions, ship upgrades, new ships, warp gates, new space sectors, mining, trading, and basically all you would want from this type of game. It's scale is far grander than the 386 predecessor I played all those years ago and it really makes use of the modern technology with it's looks and game play.
I did get a little lost after the primary introduction missions though and would like to see more focus on core missions to give it a little more direction. Playing the side missions to level up and prepare for the core missions is how I hope to see this title. Otherwise people don't see any real point in completing missions as there is no purpose..... apart from the fun but it's always better to have some "je ne sais quoi" and I think a heavier focus on core missions would provide that.
Anyway, this game is definitely moving in the right direction and I think it's a great little title.

Star Valor is a Space Action RPG game where you are in control of your own spaceship, with a vast galaxy to explore, mine, quest, trade, fight and even craft your own weapons.
