Well, after such a long time it was time to do a video again. From now on I'm not gonna make any promises on following a schedule or anything, I'll just make a new video whenever I have time and feel like it. But I tell you it was fun to do one once again! This time it's one of my favorite video game tunes ever. I really wanted to play something groovy so this was just perfect. I utilized quite a bit of keyboards on this one, but somehow I forgot to film almost all of them. Well, at least you can still hear them! The arrangement is pretty simple, nothing special. So aside from the little solo bit it's pretty faithful to the original. But I think it turned out great!

I also got to try out some new equipment: my new Telecaster and a pair of AT2050 mics as drum overheads and guitar amp mics. They seem to be working out quite well! I still turned to my old Flaxwood guitar for leads but that tele really makes a great rhythm guitar sound. I'll try it for leads too in the future. And of course being able to record drums in stereo is very beneficial to the mix. I am very happy with the drum sounds in this one so those mics are certainly helping.
