Recently, we were contacted by Cherry Mobile Philippines so we can feature their new "Like" Phone, which you may or may not have already seen being shown as part of some ads from Smart Communications, Inc. But why is it called the Like Phone anyways? Well, it probably stems from the fact that its even more social-capable with its feature set -- having all the prerequisites for a typical user to keep in touch via Facebook, Twitter, Opera Mobile, and other forms of online connectivity. Of course, it packs the all-important WiFi capability so you don't have to rely on connecting through the Dual-SIM's GSM signals. Topped off with a large 3.5" Capacitive Screen and a dedicated Facebook button, the phone is offered originally at a PHP 3,699 price. However, it is on sale now (today, August 30, 2012) until September 2, 2012 for the price of PHP 2,999. For a WiFi phone, that's a pretty compelling deal.
