Chicken Invaders Universe [EARLY ACCESS] - Ironman August 26
28Posting a chicken invaders video so I don't get eaten alive when I post a 5 second video after who knows how many months.
No power-ups or satellites, this should show how powerful absolver beam is! Problem with it is that it's hard to get multi-kills, but perhaps that and occasional missing of UFO discs can be countered by skill. I wasn't going for score here that much, just to see if I could make it through with pure lives. I did try to not cheese that much with ion blaster instead of absolver, but trust me, it didn't go very well. (This was also done with the basic H&C101, so no movement bonus either)
Also, finally the video is in 1920x1080 for you normal people. I just played with a letterbox and edited it out since my screen is 1920x1200 (All previous footage was slightly stretched before IA added this feature).
Gotta say, this mission (Mostly the bosses) is probably the peak of what I can achieve with just skill and no power-ups, atleast without grinding it for a multitude of hours and not just a few attempts. Being rusty at the game after such a long break probably didn't help either. Still waiting for those highest difficulties to be added though, IA 👀
