Yes, we expand our Childhood Revisited (tm) series to other platforms. This time, it's a game for the good ol' personal computer thing. From a time when you couldn't click on windows and other GET OFF MY LAWN WITH YOUR MODERN BULLCRAP stuff. Delightful.
Bio Menace is an action run and gun platformer (that uses the Keen 4 engine) by Apogee, the swell guys that were your premier provider of some fabulous shareware fixes. Like most of their other games, Bio Menace is pretty solid. Unlike most of their other games, Bio Menace features the best mullet 'n moustache in all of gaming. Instant classic.
It's also kinda weird in its juxtaposition of goofy looking cartoon monsters and gruesome violence. Aw, look at this cuddly purple blob thingy OH GOD IT'S GNAWING THE FLESH OFF MY FACE
