Children of Morta - 35 - wrapping up
0【60hz】There is still some more stuff to do here, but I can't really be arsed. This game needs more content for all the grind you need to squeeze into things.
All in all, I can't say I enjoyed the story much. The cardboard cut-outs with kind of off-putting "normal US" names don't seem to fit, then you have the usual bit of naive chauvinism depicted everywhere, the ladies have their cleavages hanging out. There is some off-putting gore here and there that isn't really warranted, and then naive philosophy applied at bits.
If you don't like the gameplay loop, which is really solid at least, don't expect for the story to grip you. It's on high school theater level. I mean, it could be fitting if that's right in your age range, but shouldn't you be challenged more regardless?
Do I suggest this game? Hm... Sure. If you don't mind the grind, liked what you saw, and can stand the narrator pointing out the dead-obvious, then go ahead. For everything else, I'd wait for some content updates, or deeper discount.
