Children's Book Author CANCELS HIMSELF Before Twitter Does it For Him?!
YA and children's book authors seem to be canceling their own books before they can be called out for "problematic" decisions by a Twitter outrage mob. A children's book author took issue with a "racially insensitive" illustration of an Asian girl included in his book... one that was approved his by Asian-American publisher. Now he's calling for bookstores to remove the books from shelves himself. Is he just trying to avoid someone else canceling him? This seems to be a thing with comic book creators, too.
