Chinese e-commerce conglomerate Alibaba launched its mobile operating system, Aliyun, in China in this past July and at UpLinq 2011 showed off a reference design handset running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. The exact model of the CPU is unknown but Alibaba is working hard to get their Linux based operating system optimized and ready for release in 2012.
