Chip's Challenge is a 1989 top-down tile-based puzzle video game designed by Chuck Sommerville and published by Epyx as a launch title for the Atari Lynx. It was later ported to several other systems including the Commodore 64 in 1990. You play Nerdy Chip who desperately wants to join the "Bit Busters" computer club, led by Melinda the Mental Marvel. However, before she'll let you in, you must prove your intelligence by passing the initiation test of 149 increasingly difficult levels.
