Chivalry 2 Maul Gameplay - It's Slow, But It's A Beast! Full Match, Chill Commentary
Today's Chivalry 2 gameplay video features the Maul, possibly the strongest weapon in the game. I use the Maul for a full match at Lionspire and I play the entirety of the battle in third-person. The Maul packs a punch, but it is SO. SLOW. That slow speed got me killed seemingly for half of my deaths.
The other downside of the Maul is that it is a blunt weapon, so it stops on hit. This means that whoever you hit first, that is where your swing ends. You'll deal a tremendous amount of damage to one player at a time. Considering with the bladed weapons you can cleave through multiple enemies and disrupt their own attacks, it's a huge disadvantage that Maul users will want to keep in mind.
In Chivalry 2, you'll want to keep the Maul on the edge of teamfights and only swing when you're certain you can land a hit or two.
Chivalry 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S. Check it out on the Epic Games Store - https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/chivalry-2
