I got Chrome 4.0 to work successfully on Windows XP RTM, which is one of the only Chrome versions to work on Windows XP RTM.

To make this work, copy the winhttp.dll from Windows 2000 Extended Kernel installation folder to the “Chrome-bin” folder, or else it will not work.
